BUCC MERDEKA RAYA GET TOGETHER GOLF 2016
Once again, Bukit Unggul Country Club had hosted its annual Merdeka Raya Get Together Golf on Saturday, 20th August 2016. This tournament was to celebrate both the Hari Raya and welcoming the 59th Malaysia’s Independence Day had attracted more than 80 golfers who took part in this tournament.
The game based on system 36 stableford, teed off under a windy afternoon which made it a superb day for golfing.
Mohd Amin Haris, a 7 handicapper emerged as the Champion for A medal division with 37 points. This was followed closely among the 4 subsequent players finishing with 36 points. Azhar Mohd Nor, handicap 6 claimed the 1st runner up on count back ahead of Mohamed Shafiq handicap 12 third, Razali Daiman, handicap 12 fourth, Shahnizam, handicap 14 fifth and Enddy Norhisham handicap 14 in sixth place.
Meanwhile, Mohd Azam Ismail, handicap 19 grabbed the B medal division title with 35 points, followed by Steven Hew, handicap 19 with 34 points. The third placing went to Ahmad Fadzli Mohd Nor, handicap 18 with 32 points.
The prize presentation ceremony was held at the Eagles Loft poolside with a wide spread of local delicacies and Raya specialty including Lemang, Chicken Rendang, Ketupat, Raya cookies and many more.
